Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we are asked most often before an aquarium lid is made.

How do I find the right lid for my aquarium?

Choose your aquarium brand and then select the product made for your tank model. If your tank is not listed or you are unsure, send us the model name, measurements and a photograph and we will help you choose.

Can you make a lid for a custom or older tank?

Yes. We can design lids for custom-built, older and unusual aquariums. We will need accurate tank measurements, equipment details and clear photographs of the top of the aquarium.

Can the lid allow for lights, feeders, cables and other equipment?

Yes. Your lid can be planned around light mounts, cables, feeders and other equipment. Tell us what is fitted to your aquarium so the required openings can be included in the design.

Will I see the design before the lid is made?

Yes. After purchase, you will receive an artwork proof showing the lid shape, dimensions and cut-out positions. You can request changes, and production begins only after you approve the final drawing.

What materials are the lids made from?

Our lids use quality polycarbonate frames chosen for strength and resistance to bowing and warping, together with carefully secured UV-protected mesh.

Where do you deliver?

We ship aquarium lids across the UK and EU. Available delivery options and charges are shown during checkout.

Will I have to pay VAT or customs charges on EU deliveries?

Orders delivered to the EU are charged excluding UK VAT. Import VAT, customs duties and any handling fees are collected in the country of delivery by customs or the courier and are the customer's responsibility. Charges vary by country, so please check your local import rules before ordering.
